Hi! I'm a Stanford Ph.D, and we have an in law unit in our house thats available for rent.

The unit is ~450 square feet. It has a separate entrance, private yard, and a separate living room/kitchen from the bedroom. The laundry is shared with the main house.

Located right off the 280 in Emerald Hills, the place is quiet but only a ~15 min drive/~30 min e-bike to Stanford.

Although your yard is private/your space is not shared, we do have dogs living in the main house. If you're scared of dogs, this may not be a fit for you. Potentially open to pets.

The unit is available now, but is only available for a short term period ~6 months (We'd like to move up to the city in January). We're looking for someone who can start August 19 and the end date is very flexible. Cost is $2100 + utilities, split equally among everyone living in the house.
