Hello Peninsula house hunters! We have a room for you! It is a spacious room with plenty of sunlight and a huge closet space!

The room is located in a spacious Palo Alto house with 7 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms (shared except for 1 master bathroom). We are currently an eclectic bunch in our mid 20s to early 30s who work in education, engineering, interpretation, and audiology.

This room is available immediately. Rent will be prorated for the first month for someone who is a good fit. Ideally you would stay for at least a year!

Here's a little more about ourselves:

• Y is a language nerd. She likes wrangling with words and stewing over word choices. Equally ready for a show as she is for spontaneous adventure. Maybe you'll be the hiking buddy on her next camping trip.
• E is always on the move! Whether it's climbing, running, or snowboarding, you'll always see him going all out. He is an Amazonian nerd who isn't afraid to speak his mind.
• T is always on an adventure. She hikes every single day! You also will probably never see her without a bowl of crunchy vegetables.
• E loves reading and cooking, and has filled our garden bed with seasonal fruits and veggies. He loves living communally and going on lil adventures with the house.
• O loves going on trips with friends and meeting new people. He likes to play guitar, go running and cook delicious food. He's also often trying to convince others they should join him to go to concerts.
• O brings so much joy into any space she enters! As a recent out-of-state transplant, she is eager to explore the Bay, run spontaneous 5k's, and match you with your new favorite reality show.

Our house has a two-car garage currently filled with bikes, snowboards, and other adventure implements, a spacious backyard with a fire pit, wood deck, grill, and an amazing hosting kitchen / living room / dining room. We're also walking distance to a fancy grocery store, Rick's Ice Cream, Mitchell Park, the library, and the one and only Great Clips (ok, there's more than one...). Costco is a 4 minute drive. There is plenty of street parking, easy access to highway 101, and lots of bike lanes. We are only a 15 minute drive to Stanford University.

Additional details:

Security deposit is $1430 (1/7 of the total security deposit) and rent is collected at the beginning of each month. Utilities and shared house supply costs split among housemates ~$100-120/month. We share equally in house chores and meet to discuss preferences and communicate about what's going on in the house.
