Gray 2014 BMW i3 electric vehicle (EV) with technology package. Includes larger infotainment screen and automatic distance and cruise control. 60000 miles and increasing, as I still drive it and am not in a rush to sell.

This car has the lowest rolling resistance and weight of any i3 ever produced, since it has the lightest battery and no range extender (ICE), it is quicker and more nimble than any other i3.

Upgrades:

• The engine mounts have been upgraded to aluminum.
• I upgraded the infotainment (added CarPlay/Android Auto).
• I also a added rear view camera.
• It has a 2” trailer hitch for my bike carrier. Please let me know if you’re interested in keeping it and/or my bike carrier. Otherwise I will transfer to my new i3. Install is perfect! The rear hatch opens and just clears the two bike, ez-load THULE bike carrier when folded up. Hitch was $470 new, ~$800 installed w/ 2 hours of labor, and the bike carrier was $650 new. I would add $750 to the asking price for both of them.

The i3 sits on AST lowering springs and wheel spacers that improve handling without sacrificing ride comfort. It also looks great with the subtly lower and wider stance.

Range: It’s a 10 year old battery so range has gone down from about ~81 to a max of about 65. This was my first EV so it was kind of like a proof of concept for me for ownership. Despite the limited range, I used this car for 95% of my driving. I would not, however, recommend it as your only car. It’s much more useful as an "around town" vehicle. If you are traveling via highway any extended distance (>30 miles) you just need to be mindful of and able to charge at your destination. A 110v "slow" charger is included, and the i3 is wired for 220v fast chargers.
