Located in San Diego, California, has developed a unique aircraft/drone, that is scalable to a full-size passenger aircraft. This one of its kind drone, has multiple patents and patent pending. It is all electric, hydrogen powered and can fly for four hours with a 15-pound payload. The US navy has awarded UA financing for the coming years with the plan to purchase the technology for their fleet, once completed.
Our team works out of a hangar at a municipal airport in San Diego.
We are seeking a dynamic, PASSIONATE, self-starter Mechanical Engineer, ideally with an aerospace background, with the following qualifications:
**•** Proficient in SolidWorks: Not just knowing the program but highly skilled in solving complex mechanical detail and a good understanding of tolerancing, with 3-5 years’ experience.

• Can interact well with their coworkers who represent different fields of expertise.
• Is passionate not only about their profession but also things that fly.
