Full disclosure: the lights flicker sometimes, but this may be because LED light bulbs need to replaced (lamp takes E12 LED light bulbs). I have not tested new light bulbs. However, it was still fine for keeping a reading corner illuminated in living room.
Condition: used almost daily for several years but looks pretty new
