I’m looking for a room in a shared house starting July 2025. I’m an incoming postdoc at Stanford from Switzerland working in the mechanical engineering department.

I’d like to find something walking/biking distance from Stanford. Open also to Redwood City or Mountain View if close to the Caltrain station.

I’m a non smoker, no drugs, quite active person (running, swimming, climbing, ski touring…) and love to spend time outdoors as well. I have a stable income from Switzerland (Swiss postdoc fellowship). I’m originally Italian but have been living in Zurich for the past 7 years, first in student housing and then in a shared flat for the past 4.5 years.

I will be in Palo Alto in June and have one month temporary accommodation.
