Room Available in Palo Alto House - June 1st - $1250 + utilities

One room will be available in our lovely Palo Alto house starting June 1st! Rent is $1250/month + utilities. The location is super convenient — just 15 minutes by bike to Stanford and 10 minutes to downtown Palo Alto. The neighbourhood is quiet, safe, and perfect for students or recent graduates.

The house is large, with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The room itself is also very spacious — easily fits a double bed and desk, has a walk-in closet, and its own thermostat for heating. This room shares a bathroom with one other person.

The housemates are all super friendly, respectful, and international. Everyone is in their mid-twenties, gets along really well and the vibe in the house is chill and social:

• One roommate works at a French utility company after doing a Master’s at Stanford (French-Spanish)
• Another works at Waymo, also did a Master’s at Stanford (French-Spanish)
• One works at Tesla after finishing a Master’s in Electrical Engineering at Stanford (Norwegian)
• One is a research associate at Stanford working in neuroscience/stem cell research (Greek)

The common areas are a big plus:

• Huge living space with a ping pong table and projector + screen for movie nights
• Fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, microwave, two fridges, dishwasher, bread maker, air fryer, etc.)
• In-unit washer and dryer
• Large patio with BBQ and jacuzzi
• Parking spots available
• Garage for bikes and extra storage

The landlord is super chill, easygoing, and open to fixing things when needed.

I will be leaving Stanford in June after nearly a year in this house, and I’ve loved it here — would definitely stay longer if I could!
