I'm moving to Palo Alto for a professional fellowship at Stanford. I'm seeking a rental in bicycling distance of Stanford for the upcoming school year, from August 2025 to June 2026. I have some flexibility to start a lease in July for a full 12 months, if preferable to landlords.

My budget is ideally up to $2,500/mo for a studio/ADU/in law apartment, lower for less private space. I’m tidy, quiet, and likely to be frequently busy and out of the house. I’m a decent baker, if you like cookies and bread. I prefer a studio to a shared house, but I have lived with roommates from 2015-2025 and am happy to share kitchenette/yard/common area space and would consider renting a room with an en suite/non-shared bathroom.

Necessary:

• kitchenette with sink
• freezer or room to bring own
• stovetop or space for hot plate
• private bedroom and bathroom
• Sept. 1-June 15 availability
• no smoking
• 20-30 minute bicycle ride to campus
