Looking for long-term housing in Palo Alto/MTV/San Jose start August @stanford.edu

Hi all. I'm planning to move from Redwood City down south to anywhere in the Palo Alto / Mountain View / San Jose area, preferably close to Mountain View.

I hope to look for a place with

Move-in date: early to mid August.
Private bedroom and private bathroom
Open to taking over existing lease, sign new ones, etc. for >= 1 year

I'd also prefer

Apartments
In-house laundry units
AC/thermostats

Some info about myself: I identify as a male. I graduated from Stanford about a year ago and am currently working in a tech start up. I enjoy private times a lot, likes to keep the common area clean, will host guests overnight sometimes but will not host parties, enjoy the presence of pets but don't have one myself.
