I am seeking a knowledgeable and experienced tutor to collaborate with my son - a high school sophomore on an advanced robotics project. The project involves building a robotic car using the NVIDIA Jetson Nano that can locate its position, recognize target objects, and navigate toward them. The setup includes a RealSense D455 depth camera, ROS2, and RTAB-Map for navigation.
The student is a highly skilled programmer with over six years of experience in Python, JavaScript, Linux and SwiftPlayground, and has already assembled the components and established a working framework. The tutor’s role will be to collaborate with him, guide advanced aspects of the project, and mentor in areas such as robotics, computer vision, AI, and navigation algorithms.
Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with the student on refining and completing the robotic car’s navigation and object recognition features.
-Provide expert guidance on the RealSense D455 depth camera, RTAB-Map integration, and ROS2 setup.
-Mentor the student in advanced robotics concepts, AI, and computer vision techniques.
-Assist with debugging and optimizing hardware-software interactions.
